Erika has extensive experience in a broad range of litigation matters. She has successfully defended pharmaceutical companies against antitrust and unfair competition allegations, with a particular focus on the Hatch-Waxman Act, product hopping, and reverse payment settlement allegations. Erika further has managed multiple cases defending physicians and hospitals against allegations of malpractice.
Erika is invested in pro bono work and remains committed to those in need of legal assistance. She has successfully appealed New York City’s denial of disability benefits to a 9/11 first responder, obtained divorces to indigent and vulnerable clients, including one involving service of process by publication, and participated in the representation of New York City students and school employees in their effort to replace hazardous light fixtures in school buildings.
Erika is committed to the academic community, and is the Founder and CEO of Study Songs, an app aimed at helping students study for the multistate bar exam.
Erika received her J.D. from Georgetown University and her Masters in economic law from Sciences-Po Universite in 2008.
Prior to joining Brown, Neri, Smith & Khan, LLP, Erika worked at White & Case LLP as a litigation associate in the competition practice, with a focus on complex antitrust cases involving pharmaceutical companies.
